Things are looking very tricky for all the Frank Ocean fans out there, as the Swim Good hit maker keeps cancelling touring opportunities this year.
The singer-songwriter first cancelled his anticipated performances at this year’s Hangout Fest and Sasquatch and fans were not happy. Well, he doesn’t seem fazed at all because now, as the festival organisers themselves have revealed in a statement that was posted on Facebook, Frank Ocean pulled out of yet another live event.
Frank Ocean has cancelled his Primavera Sound Festival showcase, and this officially makes it the third performance that he has thrown out the window so far. According to the statement that was released, Frank Ocean cancelled the show “due to production delays beyond his control. The artist has apologised and has reiterated his wish to come to Barcelona soon”. Will he really or will he also be cancelling the Barcelona gig?
Fans are not within their feelings, and have trust issues because Frank Ocean stays cancelling these gigs! Fans who were going there to see Frank Ocean in the first place were asking for refunds, and many could not receive any.
“Only Friday day ticket holders can ask for refund,” answered Primavera in the comments section to people who wanted to bail the entire four-day concert.
They also added they would soon inform the general public about the possible changes to the schedule in light of the cancellation. Fans were not happy, even going as far as questioning his production techniques, while others asked if he could be replaced with Kendrick Lamar.
While many may think Frank is being shade for cancelling he has actually been doing the most elsewhere. The singer is continuing his blonded RADIO series.
