Rapper AKA took it on Twitter to shade Cassper Nyovest after he called himself a king for dethroning AKA from the iTunes number 1 spot.
These two rappers have been at each other’s throats about who is the best in the hip-hop game for a while now. Both AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes, and Refiloe ‘Cassper Nyovest’ Phoolo are battling for the number 1 spot on iTunes for their singles.
Caspper Nyovest’s single ‘Tito Mboweni’ dropped last week, and it has been on top of the charts dethroning his rival AKA’s ‘The World Is Yours’, which has been occupying the spot for a weeks now.
AKA threw shade at Cassper Nyovest when he tweeted that the king is back (referring to his spot on iTunes), AKA tweeted that “King yamasimba” meaning trash king.

This was followed by a series of tweets about how AKA doesn’t care about who is at the number one spot as long as people are listening to his music.
And he tweeted that he finally beat Cassper’s ‘Tito Mboweni’, as his ‘Caiphus Song’ is now number 1 on iTunes.
We don’t know when this competition between the two rappers will end, but we will keep you posted while it still rages on.
