Following a concert in northwest Arkansas, Jaques Webster, aka Travis Scott, was arrested by the Rogers Police Department.
This comes a month before he is due to travel to South Africa for the Castle Lite Unlocks concert, which will be in Johannesburg on the 15th of June and in Polokwane at the Polokwane Cricket Club on the 16th of June, which is Youth Day.
According to a statement released by the police department on Facebook, Webster encouraged people to rush the stage and bypass the security protocols to ensure concertgoers’ safety. During the rush to the stage several people were injured, including an employee from the security company hired to help monitor and control the crowd and a member of the police department.
The injured subjects were treated at the AMP by members of the Rogers Fire Department and Mercy Medical. Travis Scott was charged with Inciting a Riot, Disorderly Conduct, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. He was transported to the Benton County Sheriffs Office.
Now things have gotten all sorts of awkward cause we are expecting him here, and, well, we don’t know if he will be in court or nah. According to Channel24 Scott was taken to the Sheriff’s office, but he isn’t on the county jail records as an inmate.
Do you think he is till coming to SA?
