Amid reports confirming the death of Rhythm City actor Dumi Masilela, tributes from local celebrities have been pouring in.
The actor and budding musician died this morning following a Joburg hijacking. Rhythm City publicist Joe Strydom confirmed the news of his passing.
Masilela was famous for his role on e.tv soapie. Masilela’s death follows the recent marriage to fellow actress Simphiwe Ngema, who played Thuli Buthelezi in SABC’s 2 soapie Muvhango. Ngema is yet to comment on the tragic passing of her husband.
Masilela’s industry colleagues have reacted in shock at his sudden passing, from actress Rami Chuene, who sent condolences to his wife, to radio host and business man DJ Sbu.
