Disgraced Kwaito star Brickz was on Friday found guilty of raping a 16-year-old minor in his Ruimsig home in 2013.
The musician, whose real name is Sipho Ndlovu, will remain behind bars until sentencing, which is due to take place later this month. National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Luvuyo Mfaku on Friday confirmed: “Mr Ndlovu was convicted of rape. After the conviction, the R50 000 bail that he was released on was revoked, hence he is in custody.”
Ndlovu, who is popularly known for his mega hit song, Sweety My Baby, was found guilty at the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court. The verdict follows a three-year, highly publicised court case.
