All you women out there have probably asked this question at some point in your lives: What kind of wedding should I have?
Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. You have probably dreamed about it since you were a little girl.
Maybe you were even one of those obsessed girls who kept a wedding scrapbook. You know, the kind where you plan every little detail of your dream wedding.
And we mean everything, from the flowers and food to what you and your future groom would wear. Don’t worry, we aren’t judging you.
But if you are a black African woman, things can get a little complicated. Should you have a traditional African wedding or a modern white wedding? Decisions, decisions.
People generally steer away from traditional weddings because of the countless African stereotypes out there.
We put together a little something to show the differences between the two kinds of weddings.
